Job Description
Job: Quality Coordinator/ Manager
Location: Renton
Description: Primary responsibility is to provide overall leadership and expertise in quality for the Seattle plant to ensure a safe operating work environment, operational effectiveness and overall customer satisfaction. Accordingly, s/he will supervise all functions associated with maintaining and managing the quality of our product and employees from order to delivery. This includes:
  • Being the primary contact for customers on quality issues.
  • Resolve conflict with customers and suppliers
  • Customer satisfaction management of Quality with a 100% on-time delivery requirement and error free parts
  • Minimizing customer returns for lowest R&A% possible
  • Complete and submit PPAP and other customer reports on required parts
  • Working with production on capability studies to identify the root cause of quality issues 
  • SPC tracking of parts/equipment
  • Management of calibration of all measuring equipment
  • Establish and maintain the facility under the company ISO Certification
  • Vendor quality management working with our Supply Chain group (includes claim processing)
  • Complete audits of outside shops, including initial audits for new OSP, periodic audits and audits for problem shops
  • Communicate with customers on problem parts to resolve issues and determine priority measurements on parts
  • Implementing and meeting customer specific quality requirements and reporting
  • Identification and implementation of continuous improvements in all work processes
  • And all other duties as assigned by the General Manager
Requirements: 
•     4-yr college degree required
•     Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisor level role with Quality experience
•      Problem solving skills
•      Computer skills required (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•      Data Analysis skills required (Capability, SPC)
•      Ability to train and mentor employees
•       Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and multi-task                 
•       Track record of self-motivated, results-orientated team player
Pay Range: $55,000-$65,000 annually depending on experience.
