DESCRIPTION:Presenting Sponsor: The Boeing Company\n\n \n\n Join fellow Chamber members and business leaders at the annual Legislative Reception. You are invited to join Boeing Sr. Manager\, Aerospace Academic Alignment\, Learning Training & Development's Michael Greenwood\, and Renton Technical College President Steve Hanson on a tour of Renton Technical College's new aerospace assembly mechanic program at 6:00 pm. This program is a partnership between the Washington Training and Research Center (WATR Center)\, which is based at Edmonds Community College\, and Renton Technical College. Most of the coursework is done online\, but the first cohort of students begin their month-long on-campus lab in October. You will meet instructors\, see the equipment the students are training with\, and hear about how Renton Technical College is meeting Boeing's workforce training needs. The tour will meet in Renton Technical College's Roberts Center lower lobby. The Renton Chamber of Commerce's 2011 Legislative Reception will follow immediately after the tour.\n\n \n\n \n\n \n \n \n \n Adults Only Please
