If you are a board member\, what have you found to be valuable? And how do you move past the personality conflicts\, differences in expectations\, and power struggles that have marked every board/ non profit relationship at some point in time? Come preprared to share your ideas.  We'll also sample board job descriptions\, recruitment ads\, and orientation manuals\, and let you know about upcoming training from organizations like United Way and Nonprofit Center.
