DESCRIPTION:Meeting TopicsWe'll experiment with meeting topics and an online forum over the next year to see how to best draw in such diverse groups. For May\, the burning topic is "It's easy to talk about working together but how do we actually do it?  We'll give you tangible and manageable examples of how to ease into collaboration. Tapping into professional developement more will be a theme - we're surrounded by resources for every aspect of our organizations and many are free.  We'll provide a monthly list of resources for you\, your staff and board.  Getting to know each other\, our dreams\, and our challenges is another priority.  In addition to networking and announcememt time built into each meeting \, we're planning to hold an "Community Conversation" on June 16th.  There\, people can divide up by affinity whether thats a certain mission\, like shelter\, or a certain goal\, like getting into social media.
