DESCRIPTION:The world of drum corps is returning to Seattle as the Northwest Youth Music Association proudly presents its highly anticipated Northwest Youth Music Games Seattle competition\, bringing together five of the nation's finest drum and bugle corps in competition at Renton Memorial Stadium on Saturday\, July 6\, 2024.\n\n\n\nFeaturing the best of Drum Corps International (DCI) Troopers from Casper\, WY\, Blue Knights from Denver\, CO\, Seattle Cascades from Seattle\, WA\, Columbians from Pasco\, WA and the Gems from Boise\, ID. The competition promises an electrifying display of musical excellence and visual spectacle that will leave audiences on the edge of their seats. From kaleidoscopic formations to jaw-dropping choreography\, each corps brings its own unique style to the field\, creating breathtaking music and movement that you will leave humming and talking about for years.\n\n\n\nAspiring high school and college level brass\, percussion and color guard students wanting to learn more about drum corps are invited to attend a clinic sponsored by the Seattle Cascades. Clinic information can be found at: https://www.seattlecascades.org\n\n\n\nCome early and shop at the souvenir and business marketplace featuring the participating drum corps\, arts organizations\, and Renton-area businesses.  In addition\, food from some of the best local food trucks will be available.\n\n\n\nReserved and general admission tickets are on sale now. Ticket prices vary from $25 to $55 reserved. In the past\, premium seating has sold out\, purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.
