DESCRIPTION:RANU (Renton Area Nonprofits Unite) is for any nonprofit in or benefiting the greater Renton area.  An opportunity for like-minded organizations to network and connect and build bridges.\n\nEach meeting has a subject matter presentation designed to uplift those working in the nonprofit world.\n\n\nOUR NEXT MEETING is Wednesday\, July 24  -9:00 to 10:30am- @Renton Chamber of Commerce\n\nGuest Presenter: Sarah McNeish of Multi-Service Center\n\nGuest Facilitator: Charles Bordy\, Donor Relations Specialist for Valley Cities\n\n \n\nUnfortunately\, I will not be in attendance for this meeting as I will be on PTO celebrating my 60th birthday. You all will be in good hands with my colleague\, Charles.\n\n \n\nTopic: Cultivating Donor Relationships\n\nJoin us for conversation\, tools\, and tips on building meaningful relationships with your existing and potential donors to support your nonprofit's mission. We'll talk about how to find and engage new donors\, strengthen engagement with existing donors\, and strategies around recruiting and retaining recurring donors.\n\n \n\nSarah McNiesh is the Development and Community Engagement Director for Multi-Service Center (MSC)\, a human services non-profit serving South King County. Prior to joining the MSC team almost 11 years ago\, Sarah served as Development Director for a children's museum and on the development teams for non-profits providing advocacy and support for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
