DESCRIPTION:Voices of the Youth is a family-friendly event celebrating community in Renton Washington. The event is planned by summer interns from the CryOut after-school program across from Renton High School. There will be community booths\, food vendors\, kids activities\, and performances from youth throughout the Renton/West Hill/South Seattle community. Our theme this year is #reconcile. We hope the art will encourage discussion about how we\, as a community\, can reconcile our racial issues and get to know each other in our diverse community. Renton can be an example of small solutions making a big impact. Come join the conversation and help us start it with art.
