Description

Gold Sponsor:  The Chateau at Valley Center

Our speakers this month are from the Center of Economic Vitality.  James McCafferty brings a unique perspective and time-tested problem solving skills to the Center for Economic Vitality (CEV). He can call upon more than a decade of experience in the public, private and non-profit sectors to tackle the challenges faced by today's business community. Combining the best practices from these arenas, James crafts solutions which are efficient, practical and sustainable.
His professional work experience is bolstered by a diverse educational background. James holds an MBA from Western Washington University and a BS in Journalism with an emphasis in public relations from the University of Oregon. This mix of business and communication training make James an effective and personable counselor.
Currently a business strategist, James has served in multiple roles at the CEV since 2005. His present work is centered on Native American outreach efforts; specifically, providing technical assistance and support to members of the Lummi, Upper Skagit, Swinomish, and Nooksack Nations.
James is driven by the belief that long term success is achieved by aligning the goals of a business with the values of its owners.
