Join Eight Twenty-Eight Consulting on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Anchovies & Salt in Renton for the First OMWBE Convening Session and our 8th Annual 828 Day Celebration.

First OMWBE Convening Session

The Washington State Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises has partnered with Eight Twenty-Eight Consulting to support statewide business engagement.

We invite Washington’s small and diverse business community to help shape the next phase of OMWBE engagement. This free convening will create opportunities to share experiences, build connections, learn about available resources, and identify ways to strengthen collaboration across the state.

The convening is intended for:

• OMWBE-certified business owners
• Non-certified minority- and women-owned businesses
• Business owners interested in certification
• Businesses interested in OMWBE services and resources

Convening activities include:

• Welcome, introductions, and networking
• Findings from the industry listening sessions
• Discussion of future workshops and business resources
• Vendor Scorecard discussion
• Coalition and advisory opportunities
• OMWBE updates, questions, and next steps

Time: 4:00–7:00 p.m.
Admission: Free

8th Annual 828 Day Celebration

Everyone is invited to join Eight Twenty-Eight Consulting for an evening of celebration, connection, and community recognition.

The celebration will include:

• Networking and interactive activities
• Recognition of clients, partners, and community leaders
• Raffles, auction items, and special experiences
• A look at the future of Eight Twenty-Eight Consulting

Time: 5:00–8:00 p.m.
Admission: $58

Proceeds from 828 Day will benefit House of Elijah, a nonprofit organization supporting women and families experiencing pregnancy or child loss.

828 Day Sponsorship Opportunities

Businesses and organizations may support the 828 Day celebration through the following sponsorship levels:

• Celebr8 — $500
• Collabor8 — $1,000
• Elev8 — $1,500

Sponsorship benefits may include event tickets, event recognition, logo visibility, LinkedIn promotion, and other benefits based on the selected level. Sponsorship applies only to the 828 Day celebration and is not connected to participation in the free OMWBE Convening Session.

Guests may register for the OMWBE Convening only, 828 Day only, or both events.
