Just like the American South and Northeast, Washington state has its own story of slavery, and a young boy named Charles Mitchell represents one of these stories. Storyteller Eva M. Abram shares Mitchell's story--how he came to the Northwest and how events almost led to an international incident with Canada. Please join us for this extraordinary Black History Month program!
Best for third graders through adults.
