Benjamin Hunter is an award winning multi-instrumentalist, composer, creative & culture advocate, social entrepreneur, producer, and educator. He currently serves as the Artistic Director for NW Folklife and co-chairs the Columbia Hillman Arts & Culture District. Among his many acclaimed musical pursuits, he performs original and traditional roots music as a soloist. Connecting all his experiences in one musical language, Benjamin’s music scans the margins and the nucleus alike searching for the stories and intersections where everything converges.
