AWB TRANSPORTATION & LOGISTICS INDUSTRY LISTENING SESSION
Gary Chandler AWB's VP of Government Affairs will be facilitating a transportation and logistics industry listening session at the Renton Chamber of Commerce for both providers and purchasers of these services. The goal is to learn about the economic, regulatory and workforce challenges facing this industry. Input from the listening session will be used to guide AWB’s work in support of the industry.
As the transportation hub for Asia, Alaska and Canada, Washington State handles 7 percent of all US exports and 6 percent of all US imports. The transportation and logistics industry supports all industry sectors in Washington State and is therefore vital to the Washington state economy. As such, it is important that the business environment of the state provide an opportunity for the industry to prosper, provide services to a wide range of industry and remain a key contributor to the state’s economic climate.
Take advantage of this opportunity to voice your transportation/logistic business concerns, questions and feedback to the AWB.
