Description
The C.A.S.T. Event at Gene Coulon hosts approximately 50 local area special needs children whereby anglers volunteer their time and boats and take the children and their families out for a morning of fishing. Each child receives a rod, reel, tacklebox, and t-shirt and hat to use that day and keep afterwards! After fishing that morning, the participants return to shore for a lunch and awards ceremony also hosted by local volunteers. This event is no cost to participants - participants must be between 6 and 18 years of age.
