2023 Recycling Events
Dates: May 13, June 10, Sept. 9
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Renton Technical College, North Parking Lot NE 6th Place & Monroe Ave. NE
During May 13 event, details on the specific materials accepted at this event are below:
SCRAP METAL & LARGE APPLIANCES
- Auto parts, lawn chairs, water heaters, lawn mowers, bikes, iron, and steel
- REMOVE all wheels and nonmetal part
- REMOVE oil and fluids from auto parts and mowers
- NO television sets or computers
- NO car chassis
- NO refrigerators, dishwashers, or microwaves
- Styrofoam peanuts and bubble wrap
- Bagged packing peanuts accepted
- Clean white block Styrofoam
- Look for #6 or EPS inside the recycle symbol
- Food donations will be collected at each event. Help our Renton neighbors affected by the pandemic by bringing non-perishable food to the food bank.
