Description
Join us for Free E-Waste Recycling Day, hosted by the Renton Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Renton Lions Club and Black Rock Recycling LLC.
This community recycling event helps residents and businesses safely dispose of unwanted electronics while keeping harmful materials out of landfills.
Accepted Items
• Desktop and laptop computers
• Servers and networking equipment
• Flat screen monitors and TVs
• Keyboards, mice and accessories
• Cell phones and home phones
• Two-way radios and walkie-talkies
• DVD and VCR players
• Stereo and audio equipment
• Video cameras
• Printers, copiers and scanners
• Fax machines
• Cables and wires
• Circuit boards and motherboards
• Chargers and adapters
• Mixed electronic components
• Scrap metal items
Restrictions
Items not accepted include:
• Furniture
• CRT TVs and monitors
• Chemicals
• Lightbulbs and glass
• Oil and gasoline
• Mattresses and foam
Special Handling Fees
• Refrigerators and freezers – $50 each
• A/C units and drink dispensers – $50 each
• Flat screen TVs – $25 each
• DVDs, CDs and VHS – $0.25 per pound
• Household batteries – $10 per pound
• X-ray and camera film – $0.50 per pound
• Tires – $10 each
• Aluminum rims – $5 each
