iD.A.Y.dream ANNOUNCES FIRST EVER SPEED MENTORING EVENT FOR TEENS IN SOUTH KING COUNTY The premier event giving youth a chance to see a brighter future If you had 5 minutes with notable leaders/professionals – what would you ask them? Wait no more! iD.A.Y.dream is hosting its first annual ” Speed Mentoring” event. We’re bringing together the finest leaders and YOU get 5 minutes (per round) to ask your mentors whatever you want and they too will be asking questions of you! The mentors have a ton of experience and knowledge to share. So what is speed mentoring? Cycling through fixed five-minute conversations to quickly sort out prospective future potential mentors and protégées, allies and sources of information to help you make the most of your future. How will it work? Speed Mentoring is a series of short, focused conversations about specific questions. Speed Mentoring gives you the chance to meet new friends and contacts in an exciting, upbeat and social environment. Take the stress out of approaching someone new. Meet one-on-one and share a little about yourself and develop a mentor relationship.
