Knit for Victory! Join museum staff in exploring just how crucial knitting was to the war effort. Master and beginner knitters alike will learn how to make WWI-era gear, contribute knitted goods to charity, or just relax and work on a private project. Light refreshments will be served. This program is in partnership with Maker’s Mercantile (WeAreMakers.com), who will be providing yarn and needles to the first 20 people to register at ntewolde@rentonwa.gov or 425-255-2330.
