She is an experienced educator and consultant, with a unique and demonstrated history of working in higher education, the social services profession and Wall Street. Skilled in Philanthropy, Community Engagement, Program Development, Policy Analysis, Financial Management, Board Development and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Topic: Managing people means navigating workplace and employment issues that can create real risks for organizations if handled poorly. This practical session will help nonprofit leaders and managers recognize some of the most common legal and workplace issues they are likely to encounter throughout their careers.
The discussion will also address current questions around equitable hiring, DEI-related considerations, and building fair, effective workplace practices. Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of how to spot issues early and help create healthier organizations.
