Guest Presenter: Venetia Vango is a seasoned Philanthropy Officer at Vision House with over 30 years of experience building donor relationships across sectors. A self-described “chronic connector,” she delights in finding common threads between people and cultivating generosity. Since joining Vision House in 2013 as its first Development Manager, she has helped grow the team from 2.5 to 11 staff, now serving over 1,200 families annually with a fundraising goal exceeding $5 million.

Presentation Summary:  Join us for a practical, strategy-focused session on building strong donor relationships. Venetia will cover donor acquisition, making the ask, thanking and reporting, and using data to inform your outreach. You'll learn how to grow your network, build a fundraising team--know when it’s time to hire, and practice self-care to avoid burnout. This talk is ideal for anyone looking to deepen their skills in donor engagement and relationship management.
