The city is considering implementing a local B&O tax as a sustainable, supplemental resource to support capital and maintenance needs of Renton. The preliminary plan being considered will have a very high reporting threshold and a uniform and competitive tax rate across industries. To learn more about the proposal and why the city is considering the tax, Renton Chamber is hosting two membership forums on August 13, at 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM at the chamber office. Please join Jay Covington, Chief Administrative Officer and Iwen Wang, Finance Administrator from the City for the discussion.
