Renton Downtown Civic Core Vision and Action Plan Open House

Description

Learn about several active projects recommended by the Downtown Civic Core Vision and Action Plan. Provide feedback on a new greenway trail and arts/culture space. Enjoy refreshments and join a scavenger hunt for a great prize!

The event is held in conjunction with the opening day of the 2023 Renton Farmers Market on Tuesday, June 6 from 3-7 p.m. at the Pavilion Event Center, 233 Burnett Ave S (enter at the west entrance off Logan Ave S.). Free parking at the City Center Parking Garage.

The Downtown Civic Core Vision and Action Plan resulted from a series of community meetings and online input culminating in 2018. The Plan provides recommendations to take advantage of the future possibilities and opportunities for the downtown area, from activating public spaces and streets to increasing the attractiveness for new and expanded business activity.
