Kennydale Beach Park

About Us

Kennydale Beach Park features 1.8 sunny, sandy acres along Lake Washington, with a swimming beach and playground amenities. A pier and log boom define the swimming area. A canoe and kayak launch area is designated south of the pier.

Parking is located east of the park on Burnett Avenue North.

PLEASE NOTE: Lifeguards are no longer on duty at the swimming area. Please use extreme caution and know your swimming limits - be safe!

Dogs are not allowed
For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, remember dogs are NOT allowed at Kennydale Beach Park and Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park. Violators may be subject to citations and fines. At all other City of Renton parks, dogs are allowed on 6’ leashes, or visit the Cedar River Dog Park at 1500 Houser Way S, where they can run free.
