Hi, My name is Lukas, and I’m a youth soccer player with PACNW Soccer Club. My team and I, B08 Maroon, are currently raising funds to support our upcoming travel to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, in November 2024, for the Copa Vallarta Tournament.
Last year, we had the opportunity to compete in this prestigious tournament for the first time, and we were thrilled to advance all the way to the championship round. Although we didn’t bring home the Championship trophy, the experience taught us invaluable lessons about overcoming adversity and building camaraderie. We learned how to quickly adapt to new environments, study our opponents, and push ourselves to match their intensity. Through this journey, we grew as a team and fought hard until the very end.
The Copa Vallarta Tournament, now in its 44th year, is a well-organized and highly competitive event that attracts teams from around the world across all age groups, up to U19. It has established a strong reputation for showcasing top soccer talent.
Our team has also been fortunate to participate in several tournaments in California. In June 2024, we qualified for and competed in the Elite Club Regional League national event in Norco, CA. In July, we played in the Davis Legacy Cup in Sacramento, CA. Now that the regular soccer season has started, we are focused on practicing intensely and playing with passion and unity.
We hope that we can count on your support to help us participate in the Copa Vallarta Tournament once again. Your generous donation will contribute to our team’s travel expenses and help reduce the overall cost for all 16 players.
