DONATE @ RENTON POP-UP BLOOD DRIVE
December 28th & 29th
Join us as City of Renton and Bloodworks Northwest work together again to support our local hospitals and patients by giving blood.
“On Dec. 18, 2017, Portland-bound Amtrak train 501 derailed and injured passengers were transported to local hospitals and cared for with the blood donations made by the community.
If that had happened this year, the outcome may have been different. With the current regional and national blood shortage, it may have been that there would not have been enough blood available for the patients.
Help ensure that we have a strong blood supply for the next major accident, newly diagnosed cancer patient or pregnant mother.
Answer the call and give blood @ Renton's Community Center Pop-Up on December 28th and 29th.
Donating blood is an essential and encouraged activity critical to sustaining community healthcare, especially during emergencies. Your one-hour donation appointment is a safe action to support local hospitals and patients. Pop-Up Donor Centers are being conducted in accordance with social distancing guidelines.
No walk-ins, guests, or people under age 16 are permitted onsite. Donors are asked to bring a mask/face covering to your donation and appointments are required.
