Birthday Dreams turns 5!
 
To celebrate, we are throwing ourselves a birthday party! 

Saturday, May 3rd : 11 am – 1 pm
at New Life Church
15711 152nd Ave SE, Renton
 
Join us as we explore how birthdays are celebrated elsewhere.
Birthdays Around the World will offer the community an opportunity to learn about the traditions and customs of many different cultures.
 
There will be crafts, games and piñatas filled with lots of goodies for the kids, as well as some wonderful raffle gifts for the adults. 
  
We are inviting groups from different ethnic background to come and showcase how they celebrate birthdays in their culture. Would you like to be a part of this special event?
 
Are there traditional dances/songs that are done at a birthday party or that generally represent your culture?
Are there special foods that are served at celebrations?
Does your culture have any unique customs that are performed to celebrate a persons' special day?
 
We encourage you to showcase any foods and activities that represent how your culture.

Birthday Dreams is a grassroots charity organization based in Renton, Washington.  We provide birthday parties to children living in homeless situations in the Puget Sound.  In 2013, we were awarded the Business Excellence Award from the Renton Chamber of Commerce for the Outstanding Nonprofit.
