Read it, discuss it, experience it. Egan dramatically tells the story of a 1910 forest fire that galvanized public opinion about the wilderness. As climate change increases the risk and severity of forest fires, it is important to understand current policies and their history. Join the conversation at the Renton History Museum, housed in a historical Art Deco fire station, where Egan will come to talk about his book and answer questions. No requests for book-signing, please. Registration is required and begins May 23 at https://kcls.bibliocommons.com/events/5b004fa0ba10a43500e250d8. Presented in partnership with SoCoCulture and King County Library Service.
