Held quarterly. The location will normally be at downtown's First Financial Northwest Bank unless otherwise noted.

Title: Washington’s Paid Family and Medical Leave Program: Getting Employers Ready for 2019

 
Summary:

Washington will be the 5^th state to offer paid family and medical leave benefits starting in 2020, but employers can take action by 2019.  Get a jump on 2019 and learn how your business can prepare to implement this mandatory program in this free presentation by the Washington State Employment Security Department.

Matt LaPalm is the Small Business Specialist in the Paid Family and Medical Leave team at the Employment Security Department. With a background in small and medium businesses, he understands how challenging running a business can be and how this new statewide insurance program will impact Washington’s small and independent employers.
