Rain City Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting

A childhood dream continues with the opening of the Rain City Market.

Renton, WA — For over 20 years, Rain City Catering’s Kenneth Rogers and Jeremy Bryant wanted to offer the fantastic Southend comfort food they enjoyed as kids, along with their delicious offerings that were only available at their privately catered events, to the neighborhood folks.  Rain City Catering was so thankful for the support of their community during the Covid lockdown when all their affairs were canceled.  They could pivot and start their weekly feature meal program, which was embraced by the community and allowed people to see each other at Saturday pick-up, even if they were 6 feet apart.  Another pivot was the Fancy Frozen meals.  The same incredible dishes served at their catered events were available for one individual or a group and simple to prepare.  The goal was to “Feed the Folks”!

The recipes, house products, and services that Rain City Catering has established since 1999, along with a nice mix of products that highlight our local producers and imported artisans, will be available to the public with the opening of their “Breakfast All Day, Your Way” deli and Market on July 18.

The ribbon cutting will be held at 4:30 pm, followed by a lite reception featuring a few samples from the rotating menu.  We hope to see you all on July 18 at 4:30 pm.  #feedthefolks
