Description

Seattle JACL (Japanese American Citizens League) turned 100 in September 2021. Join us on March 3rd, when Chapter speakers will present on pivotal programs and leaders, speak to Seattle’s role in the campaign for redress of WWII government injustices, and current programs. This presentation will walk through the history and engage participants in a conversation on Seattle JACL: 100 Years of Advocacy and Activism.

Following the program, from March 3- 31, The Lakeshore will continue to host an exhibit of JACL's display screens to honor the chapter’s history and legacy. This exhibit will showcase their accomplishments and acknowledge the impact of their visionary leaders. Exhibit doors will be open to the public from 11am to 4pm, Monday thru Saturday from March 3-31.

For the March 3rd event, please RSVP at (206) 772-1200. Space is limited. Vaccination and Masks Required. Thank you.
