SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve 20th Annual Frog Frolic

Shadow Lake Nature Preserve is a non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure preservation, restoration and environmental education in South King County. To date, the Nature Preserve has saved nearly 100 acres of land, by placing them under permanent protection. This land incorporates seven different habitats, including a 5,000 year old peat bog. SHADOW's community engagement, education programs, and volunteer events welcome nearly 3,000 local residents each year; including 1,500 students. We at the Nature Preserve believe conservation is a community-wide effort. The generous support of our community and volunteers make SHADOW’s mission possible. To express our gratitude, SHADOW is throwing a party! SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve will host the 20th Annual Frog Frolic, on September 10th from 1:00 – 5:00 PM. The event will feature live music from the Forgotten 45's, a Wicked Pies food truck, children’s activities, guided naturalist tours, and a silent auction. You won’t want to miss this festive community celebration! We are also looking for volunteers for the event as well as hosting a photo & T-shirt design contest for Frog Frolic.
